No iPhone/BlackBerry? Buy iTouch

Even if you do not have an iPhone or a BlackBerry, you can purchase an Apple iTouch for around $199, which will allow you to use iPhone apps and will give you Internet access. I purchased one this summer. Read my article: Why Buy an iTouch?

New legal apps this week

Once again, no new BlackBerry legal apps this week. BlackBerry users, do you notice a trend here?

As for Apple, there are several new apps this week:

Delaware Code by Tekk Innovations ($19.99)

Delaware Rules of Evidence by VernerLegal ($6.99)

Florida Statutes by Tekk Innovations ($19.99)

Florida Criminal Code - Title XLVIII by Tekk Innovations ($4.99)

Florida Criminal Procedure & Corrections Code - Title XLVII by Tekk Innovations ($4.99)

Florida Vehicle Code by Tekk Innovations ($4.99)

Read our review of three Federal Rules of Civil Procedure apps

At our web site, we have added an article reviewing three different apps on the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure for the iPhone/iTouch:

Federal Rules of Civil Procedure by PDA Wizard, Inc. ($2.99)

Federal Rules of Civil Procedure 2008 by The Law Pod ($1.99)

FRCP by Cliff Maier ($2.99)

The article sets forth the pros and cons of each app. With respect to one of the apps, I did not complete the review because I found three mistakes in the first rule I spot checked. Another app was missing Rule 71.1.

Read this article before purchasing one of these apps: Review of iPhone Federal Rules of Civil Procedure Apps
