Kidd v. Illinois State Police, 167 F.3d 1084 (7th Cir. January 12, 1999) - In this Title VII race discrimination action alleging wrongful termination, the Seventh Circuit remands the case to the district court to make supplemental findings on specific issues raised in the opinion. The Seventh Circuit retains jurisdiction over the appeal. The case involves the question of whether an African-American probationary state trooper with a learning disability was treated less favorably than a white probationary state trooper with a learning disability.
