Number of Users This is the number of persons whom you expect to read the newsletter or access the web site during the coming year. Even if the number of users changes during the year, we will not adjust the cost of this year's subscription. But we will revise the cost of the subscription for next year when you renew. If your subscription is limited to professors and administrative staff, then users are limited to employees of the school, college or university. The only exception would be an independent contractor who works exclusively for the school, college or university. But an independent contractor who does not work exclusively for the school, college or university, like an outside counsel, must subscribe separately. If the subscription is unlimited, then the same rules apply as in the previous paragraph -- except that the subscriber can also provide access to current students and provide library access. Although alumni or members of the general public may be able to use computers that are set-up to access Garland's Digest, the username/password combination may not be disseminated to any alumni or member of the general public.
