Entire treatise not online yet
The Family and Medical Leave Act chapter will not be online until summer 2008. Until then, you can search the Family and Medical Leave Act chapter under our old Reference Library, but it will not be as helpful as the treatise chapter when it is online.

Search treatise index instead of looking in table of contents
Although the treatise has a table of contents, you are much more likely to find what you are looking for if you look in the treatise index.

When using the treatise index, look for the most narrow generic term that covers your issue
For example, let's assume that you want to read a case discussing whether the failure to ask all applicants the same interview questions is evidence of pretext.  The most narrow generic term is "pretext," so look under "pretext" in the treatise index.

Search the treatise index or the treatise table of contents using our search engine
If you cannot find what you are looking for in the treatise index, then you might go to the search page and limit your search to either the treatise index or the treatise table of contents.

As a last resort, contact us
If you still cannot find what you are looking for, subscribers can send an e-mail to us at the e-mail address shown in the subscriber's most recent newsletter. We do not post that address here because visitors to our site will send questions to us.

In your e-mail, explain clearly what you are looking for and we will try to tell you where to look in the treatise. Please use this option as a last resort. We reserve the right to decline to assist any subscriber if we form the impression that that subscriber is wanting us to do his or her research. That is not part of the subscription.
